About Matt Sundermier

I have been a mortgage broker and REALTOR® with Bentley Mortgage & Real Estate Services since 2001.  After I received my degree from UC Davis in Managerial Economics with Honors, I went looking for a career that would give me the ability to run my own business and connect with others on a meaningful level.  Working as a mortgage and real estate professional achieves both of these aspirations, and lets me put my knack for both numbers and people to great use.  As a mortgage broker, I am able to simplify the daunting process of financing a home and provide clear financial options for my clients.  As a REALTOR®, I make my clients feel comfortable and confident during the often-emotional home buying and selling experiences.  Acting simultaneously in both capacities has become the trademark of my services, giving my clients an efficient, affordable, comprehensive level of unparalleled service.  Over the last 8 years I have found my business growing through the referrals of my satisfied clients.  Developing a referral-based business has been an incredibly gratifying, humbling, and wonderful experience.

As a Folsom native who has settled back into Folsom with my wife and two young daughters, I plan on being a part of the community and helping my clients buy and sell homes in Sacramento for quite some time.  I am involved with various activities around my community as well.  As a leader of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Leadership Academy Community Service Project, I spear-headed an effort to create a learning center for the youth of Powerhouse Ministries, a non-profit organization that serves the underprivileged in the Folsom area.  As one of the founding members of Folsom’s Leading Young Professionals (FLYP), I have worked to integrate our area’s young and talented professionals who strive to improve themselves and our community.

Outside of my business and civic commitments, I love to journey out with my adventurous family.  Whether it’s on a hike at Lake Natoma just down the street or on a trip around the world, we find ourselves enjoying the outdoors, people, and surprises of wherever we go, which is often on or near the water.  I will frequently update this blog’s header picture of some of our favorite lakes, rivers, and beaches we have been to.

If you’re looking for a mortgage and real estate professional who knows the market, gives honest advice, and who takes a positive and proactive approach to meeting your needs, then give me a call.  I’ll look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Hey Matt,
So nice to put a face to you finally. You look just as trustworthy, approachable and genuine as you come across on the phone. Love the picture of St. Barts. I will miss not joining Janet on a Caribbean sailing trip this year. I was a lucky gal! Hope you’re having a stellar 2011. And that rates drop again and I can refi again. heh! Best, Suzanne

    • Hi Suzanne, sorry you haven’t received my posts lately. I realized a few days ago I was sending to your wrong email addy. Yes, the St. Barts pic was fun to shoot…quite an air-strip they have there. Hope you’ve been well too!
